Feedback Survey Information

This anonymous 2–3 minutes survey is about the Psychological Science Accelerator (PSA) newsletter. We want to understand your experience and improve the newsletter to be more accessible, useful, and relevant.

This feedback survey is based on the USE questionnaire developed by Lund (2001) and adapted by Perlman (n.d.).

The responses to this survey will be reviewed regularly on an ongoing basis. If you have immediate or urgent feedback, please contact the current PSA Director(s) or the Newsletter Coordinator directly via Slack: https://join.slack.com/t/psych-sci-accelerator/shared_invite/zt-2xanhh3n8-1IPQMNi6BEvRbOEgCTvDUw.

You can also email us via: directors@psysciacc.org.

Access previous PSA newsletters via: https://psysciacc.org/news.html.

Consent

By clicking on the “Submit your responses.” button at the bottom of this page, you are agreeing to the following terms:

  • I have read the Feedback Survey Information and understand what this survey is about.
  • I understand that taking part in this anonymous survey is completely voluntary. I understand that I can leave the survey at any time by closing the browser.
  • I understand that after hitting the “Submit your responses.” button, it is not possible for my responses to be changed or removed, because my responses are anonymous and cannot be linked to me.
  • I understand that my responses may be kept indefinitely.
  • I understand that paraphrased summaries of my feedback (not including any personally identifiable details) may be shared publicly, but my exact words will not be shared (i.e. no verbatim quotes).
  • I understand that access to the survey results will be kept minimised; only the present and future Newsletter Coordinator and Director(s) will be able to view the survey results and will keep this knowledge confidential indefinitely.
  • I will make sure not to include any personally identifiable information in my written responses. I understand that there is still a small risk that I could be identified because of the “mosaic effect”. This means that small pieces of information which on their own would not be obvious could be combined to identify me. For example, my writing style, the way I express myself, or specific details I mention, such as my role, experiences, or events I refer to. Someone who is familiar with me might recognise these patterns, even if my name is not included.
  • I understand that the survey results will only be used for improving the PSA newsletter, and not for any other purpose.
  • I understand that abusive, offensive, or bad-faith responses will be deleted and excluded from analysis.
